Assam job recruitment 2023. Applications are being accepted by Daksha Devi Rasiwasia College, Chabua to hire for the Principal post, for the institution. Educational qualifications

(i) A recognized university Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale, if applicable).

(ii) A Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline or an allied field from the concerned institution, along with evidence of published work.

(iii) Associate Professor/Professor with a minimum of fifteen years of experience in teaching/research/administration in Universities/Colleges and other institutions of higher education.

(iv) A minimum score as specified in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance-Based Appraisal in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.

(v) A relaxation of 5% may be granted for candidates from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled) categories at the graduate and master’s level for eligibility and assessment of good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The relaxation of 5% for the mentioned categories and the eligibility marks of 55% (or equivalent grade on a point scale, if applicable) are permissible based on only qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

(vi) Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree may be granted a relaxation of 5% to 50% of the marks if they obtained their Master’s degree before September 1991.

(vii) The upper age limit is 55 years, according to the prescribed rules. The UGC has revised the eligibility criteria for the post of Principals of Provincialized Colleges, effective from 18-07-2018, as follows:

(i) Ph.D. degree.

(ii) Professor/Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen years of teaching/research experience in Universities, Colleges, and other institutions of higher education.

(iii) A minimum of ten research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals/books.
