A. For Bachelor’s Degree Level Posts

General Instructions
- The question paper for each level will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with only one correct answer for each question.
- The number of questions listed for each subject or topic is approximate and may vary slightly, but the total number of questions will be 150.
- There will be negative marking for wrong answers. Each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, a question carrying 1 mark will incur a 0.25 mark deduction for a wrong answer, and a question carrying 2 marks will incur a 0.50 mark deduction.
- Selecting more than one option for a question will be treated as a wrong answer and will result in negative marking.
- The question papers will be available in Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo, and Hindi.
- The date and time of the examinations will be notified in due course.
Syllabus for ADRE Grade 4 Posts
The State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-IV Posts announces the following details regarding the written examinations for Class-IV posts:
Categories of Written Examinations
- For Posts requiring education up to Class VIII.
- For Posts requiring HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent, including those with an ITI certificate in Wireman, Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, or Electronics Mechanic from a Govt. of Assam approved institute.
Syllabus
- For Class VIII level: Elementary School Pass Level (SCERT).
- For HSLC level: High School Certificate (Board of Secondary Education, Assam), including relevant ITI trades.

- General Knowledge
- Mental Ability and Logical Reasoning
Language Medium
Assamese, Bengali, English, Boro, and Hindi.
Exam Details
- Total Questions: 135 multiple-choice questions
- Marks per Question: 1 mark each

Scoring:
Only one correct answer per question.
Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
