Assam career 26/4/23. Border Security Force (BSF), through an official notification, has accepted applications for filling up of 247 Head Constable posts lying vacant in the department. Qualified Indian citizens can participate in this recruitment process.

For this, the form has to be filled in as described below. Candidates will have to submit the eligibility certificate and all other necessary documents.

Educational qualifications

• To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet one of the following requirements- Matriculation or an equivalent degree from a recognized Board, as well as a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and Television, Electronics, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Data Preparation & Computer Software, General Electronics, or Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.
• OR Passed the Intermediate or 12th standard or an equivalent degree from a recognized Board, University, or Institution as a regular student with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in PCM subjects.
• OR Passed the Intermediate or 12th standard or an equivalent degree from a recognized Board, University, or Institution as a regular student with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in PCM subjects.

Citizenship– Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit- As of the closing date of the application, candidates should be between 18 and 25 years of age.

Below is the category-wise age relaxation for this position- OBC: 3 years SC: 5 years ST: 5 years.

• Qualifying during the selection stages of the recruitment process does not guarantee an appointment. The final selection of the candidate will be based purely on merit. When the application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted provisionally. Candidates can take a printout of the application form for their own records.
• The printout of the application form must not be submitted to BSF Recruitment Centres. Candidates are also advised to use their active e-mail address and mobile number for the purpose of Time Registration (OTR) and subsequent filling of the online application form.
• All the subsequent correspondence/ recruitment-related notifications will be made by the department on the given e-mail/ SMS of the concerned candidate.
• Candidates should remember their login credentials, i.e., USERNAME and PASSWORD after making ‘One Time Registration’ to sign in to their profile. Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions contained in the recruitment advertisement before filling up the application form.
• Requests for change/correction in the application form will not be entertained under any circumstances. Hence, candidates must exercise due diligence while filling out their online application form.
