 24/12/2022. মূখ্যমন্ত্ৰী ডক্টৰ হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শৰ্মাই যোৱা সাত ডিচেম্বৰ তাৰিখে এক টুইট যোগে জনাইছে যে, অসম চৰকাৰে নিৰ্বাচনৰ পূৰ্বে দিয়া প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি পালন কৰাৰ দিশত দ্ৰুত গতিত আগবাহিছে। নিৰ্বাচনৰ পূৰ্বে দিয়া এক লাখ চাকৰিৰ প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতিৰ পৰিপ্ৰেক্ষিতত চৰকাৰে কাম কৰি গৈছে। অসম চৰকাৰৰ ৰাজ্যিক কেবিনেট মন্ত্ৰীসভা, ০৭/১২/২০২২ তৰিখে গ্ৰহণ কৰা  সিদ্ধান্ত মৰ্মে, অনাগত দিনত অসম ৰাজ্যিক পৰ্যায়ৰ আৰক্ষী নিযুক্তি বোৰ্ডৰ অধীনত,  অসম চৰকাৰৰ পৰিৱেশ আৰু বন-বিভাগত মুঠ ১,৬৬৭ টা খালী পদৰ বাবে আবেদন গ্ৰহণ কৰা হৱ।

বন আৰু বন্য প্ৰানীৰ সুৰক্ষাৰ বাবে অসম বন সুৰক্ষা আইন 1986-ৰ অধীনত তৃতীয় অসম বন সুৰক্ষা বাহিনী স্থাপনৰ বাবে অনুমোদন জনোৱাৰ লগতে লখিমপুৰ জিলাত ১,১১৫ টা নতুন পদৰ সৃষ্টি কৰি বন সুৰক্ষা আৰু সীমাৱৰ্তী এলেকা সমূহৰ সুৰক্ষাৰ ব্যৱস্থা গ্ৰহণ কৰা হৱ।

  Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet on December 7 said that- The Assam government is making rapid strides in keeping its pre-poll promises. The government has been working in view of the promise of one lakh jobs made before the elections.

The decision was taken in the State Cabinet meeting, Government of Assam, dated 07/12/2022. In the coming days, applications for a total of 1,667 vacancies in the Environment and Forest Department of the Government of Assam will be accepted under the Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board.

Approval for the establishment of the 3rd Assam Forest Protection Force under the Assam Forest Protection Act, 1986 for the protection of forest and wild animals and in the Lakhimpur district, 1,115 new posts will be created to protect the forest and protect the border areas.

Educational Qualification- HSLC (Class 10) or equivalent examination passed and must have a valid four-wheeler driving license issued by the any Competent Authority of Assam.

Educational Qualification- HSLC (Class 10) or equivalent examination passed and must have a valid four-wheeler driving license issued by the any Competent Authority of Assam.

Application Process- Candidates having the required educational qualification for posts as mentioned here, may apply for the posts by submitting online applications mentioned below with their preferences. Candidates have to upload their recent passport-size photograph and signature during the application process.

Documents Needed-

1. Admit Card of HSLC for proof of age or Birth certificate issued by the Competent Authority for those candidates who have not appeared in the HSLC examination.

2.  Certificate and Mark-sheet of Minimum Educational Qualification for the Post concerned.

3. Four wheeler Driving License issued by any Competent Authority of Assam for the post of Driver.

4. Certificate of caste from the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to ST (P)/ST(H)/SC/OBC & MOBC.

5. Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card.

6. EWS certificate issued by competent Authority.

Selection Procedure-

There will be two tests for recruitment of all the posts, the First Phase Test and the Second Phase Test.

Individual admit card will or call letters will be released to the candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects. The test will be conducted at any convenient venue depending upon the number of candidates. The candidates will have to appear for the First Phase Test at the venue mentioned in his/her call letter.

Examination Procedure for Forester-I and Forest Guards-

First Phase- The First Phase Test for Forester-I and Forest Guards will be the Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 KMs (for Males) and 16 KMs (for Females) walk to be covered within 4 hours. Modern technology will be used for recording the time taken by the candidates to complete the walk.

Second Phase- The Second Phase Test for Forester-I and Forest Guards will be a Written Test. After completion of the Physical Fitness Test, a merit list will be prepared for each category (Un-reserved, OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and EWS ) for both males and females ) on the basis of time taken for completion of the 26 KMs/ 16 KMs walk. Candidates will be called for Written Test in order of merit at the rate of 5 times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category. There will be a separate question paper for Forester-I and Forest Guards.

Examination Procedure For the Post Of Driver and Other-

For the posts of Driver, the First Phase will be a common Written Test. The duration of the Written Test will be of 2 hours on the subjects as given below. The Test will be of 75 marks with 75 questions completely OMR based. Each question will be of 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 1/2 mark for each wrong answer. The candidates will use a blackball pen to answer the OMR-based answer sheet.

Basic General Awareness/ General knowledge

The second phase will be a skill test for the post of driver and cook.

Important Points-

(a) Canvassing directly or indirectly shall render such candidates unfit for the post.

(b) No TA / DA will be admissible to candidates for the journey and stay at any stage of the recruitment process.

(c) The selection list confers no right to appointment unless the department is satisfied with the suitability of the candidate after a thorough medical examination and such inquiry and verification of the essential documents of eligibility as may be considered necessary before appointment to the post.

(d) Candidates have to appear in all the stages of recruitment. If a candidate is absent from any stage his / her candidature will be canceled.

(e) Candidature will be summarily rejected at any stage of the recruitment process if found not conforming to the official format / having incomplete information/wrong information/incomplete requisite certificate/misrepresentation of facts/impersonation.

(f) The select list will remain valid for appointment from the date of announcement of the result for one year or till the date of the next advertisement of a similar post whichever is earlier.

(g) Before issuing of appointment letter, the department will obtain an undertaking from the selected candidates that they shall abide by the New Pension Rules of Govt.

(h) The Chairman, SLPRB, Assam reserves the right to make changes or cancel or postpone the recruitment process on specific grounds.

(i) Fake documents / false information /misrepresentation of facts shall lead to rejection if detected at any stage before/after the appointment and shall make the candidate liable to criminal proceedings as per existing law.

(j) Offering of bribe or any favor by a candidate or by any individual on behalf of any candidate is a criminal offense. Such activity shall result in immediate disqualification of the candidature of that particular candidate.

(k) Candidates should mention their full/proper address with PIN Code.

(l) In case of any clarification, the decision of the SLPRB will be final.

(m) The number of vacancies is subject to change and appointment to such vacancies will be decided by the Competent Authority at the time of appointment, based on the merit, category-wise as per the final merit list.

(n) The rules & regulations, terms & conditions of the department, and Govt. of Assam will be applicable.

(o) The final appointment after selection is subject to a satisfactory Police Verification Report and Final Medical Examination Report as per existing norms. In case Police Verification Report or Final Medical Examination Report is found unsatisfactory, the candidature of such candidates will be rejected outright.

(p) The rules & regulations, terms & conditions of training, and afterward will be applicable to the Forest Department.
