NOTIFICATION, INFORMATION FOR CTET 2022

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in a notification has revealed that the 16th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2022) will be held in December this year, which will be held entirely through the computer. Interested candidates can apply here. The following is a description of all the information related to the test.

Eligibility Criteria-

Educational qualifications CTET 2022- For lower Primary Teacher.

1. At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary.
2. Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes.
3. 45% marks in Higher Secondary and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
4. At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary with Four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
5. At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)
6. Graduation from UGC recognized University with two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
7. Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes.
8. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC & PH candidates.

1. At least HS Passed with physics, chemistry, mathematics with 45% marks from a government recognised institute.
2. HSLC with two years ITI Certificate in Electronics, Computer from a government recognised institute.
3. HSLC with three years ITI Certificate in Electronics, Computer from a government recognised institute.

Educational qualifications for CTET 2022- For Upper Primary Teacher.

1. Graduation from UGC recognized University with two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
2. Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes.
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with one year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University
4. Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with one year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized institutes/University.
5.  5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC & PH candidates.

Age limit- Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years for unreserved category.

 Age relaxation for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) according to the government rules.

Application fee-

1. Rs1000 for General/OBC Category candidate.
2. R1200 for both paper one and two.
3. Rs500 for reserved category paper 1 and both paper 1 and 2 Rs600.
4. There will be no any fee for the reserved category candidates.
