GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM OFFICE OF THE DIRECTORATE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION released an Admission notification for the provisionally selected candidates of India to fill up the following eligibility criteria for Admission to the following courses.

The detail of the admission process is mentioned below-

Candidates selected provisionally through the first round of counseling, for the Assam state quota under TGL/Ex TGL Category, Martyr’s quota, Extremist Violence quota, and freedom fighter’s quota shall have to appear for documents verification in the office of the “Directorate Of the Medical Education, Assam. Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22” on 31^st October 2022 (Sunday) at 11.00 AM.

Important Points

1. Candidates must bring all the documents.
2. Quota claim-related documents Annexures of schedule-I of the application form as per provision of the Medical colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam.

Earlier Dated 11/10/2022 DME Assam notified that Candidates who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by NTA are eligible for admission in “The medical colleges and Dental colleges of Assam for the session of 2022 under state quota seats.

1st round counseling for Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS Courses in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam 2022

GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL EDUCATION released an Admission notification for eligible candidates of India to fill up the following eligibility criteria for Admission to the following courses.

The detail of the vacancy is mentioned below-

1^st round online counseling for admission into 1^st year MBBS/BDS Courses in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam.

Eligibility

• Candidates have to qualify in the National Eligibility Test cum Entrance Test (UG)-2022(NEET-UG 2022) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and are eligible as per The Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam.
• Online registration for the counseling will commence from 17/10/2022 to 17/10/2022, and will be available on the official website of the dme.assam.govt.in.
• All candidates under unreserved and reserved shall have to register and fill up choices in the online counseling.
• No offline counseling will be held separately for these seats.
• Candidates applying for Ex-Serviceman and serving Defence Personnel and Sports quota seats shall have to appear physically for documents verification and preparation of merit list on 14th October 2022 at the office as per earlier notice vide no. DME/UG/234/2022/20006, dated 07/10/2022, must participate in online counseling.
