Eligibility Criteria–

 All the educational qualifications are described below according to post categories.

Sheristadar (Chief Administrative Officer)- To be eligible for this position, the candidate must be a graduate and must have worked as a Sheristadar or Head Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge Establishment for a continuous period of at least 5 years according to the Assam District & Sessions Judge Establishment (Ministerial) Service Rule of 1987.

Salary- Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,10,000 with grade pay of Rs 14,500 per month, Pay band- 4

Head Assistant- To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have served continuously for at least 3 years as a Supervisory Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge establishment, as a Sheristadar of Civil Judge & Assistant Sessions Judge, or as a Sheristadar of the Munsiff, or as an Upper Division Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge establishment.

Salary- Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,10,000 with grade pay of Rs 13,900 per month, Pay band- 4

Sheristadar of Civil-cum-Assistant- The candidate must have worked continuously for at least 3 years as either a Sheristadar of the Munsiff or an Upper Division Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge establishment.

Salary- Rs 22,000 to Rs 87,000 with grade pay of Rs 9,100 per month.

Sheristadar of Munsiff- The candidate must have served continuously for at least 3 years as an Upper Division Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge establishment.

Salary- Rs 14,000 to Rs 60,500 with grade pay of Rs 8,000 per month.

Upper Division Assistant- The candidate must have worked continuously for at least 3 years as a Lower Division Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge establishment.

Salary- Rs 14,000 to Rs 60,500 with grade pay of Rs 8,000 per month.

Applicants need to submit an offline application in the standard application format published by the government of Assam.

The application must be submitted in a sealed envelope with self-attested copies of all the documents related to the educational qualification, age, caste, Valid employment exchange registration card, driving license, and three copies of passport size photograph duly signed by the candidates.

Important Points-

Candidates will be notified of the date, location, and time of the interview and viva voce via a call letter, and a list of candidates will be published on the official website of the District Judiciary in Majuli.

If a candidate does not receive a call letter for the interview and viva voce, they should inform the undersigned in writing and retrieve a copy of the call letter from the undersigned’s office before the interview and viva voce.

Any attempts at canvassing will result in the immediate rejection of the candidate.
