TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST WEST BENGAL 2022 (CAREER ASSAM)
West Bengal Board of Primary Education released a notification regarding conducting TET Examination 2022, for the recruitment of Teacher Class 1 to Class 5, as per the NCTE guidelines issued by NCTE.

Eligibility Criteria– Having academic qualification specified by the NCTE, notification dated 25/08/2010/28/06/2018/13/10/2021.
Academic Qualification-
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and having a 2 year diploma in Elementary Education Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks, having a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education.
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and having a diploma in Special Education Recognised by R.C.I.
5% relaxation of marks in senior secondary or its equivalent examination will be allowed for ST/SC/OBC/PWBD/EX-Serviceman.
Person who have appeared for the final examination on the two-year D.El.Ed course from NCTE recognised institutions on the date of this notification and the result is not yet published.
Persons who have appeared for final examination of the two-year D.Ed (Special Education) course from RCI recognized institutions on the date of this notification and the result is not yet published.
Persons who have appeared for final examination of the two-year B.Ed (Special Education) course from RCI recognized institutions on the date of this notification and the result is not yet published.
Other Qualification-
First Language – Applicants will have to choose any of the following languages as their first language.
Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, Santhali, Oriya and Telegu. The choice will be on the basis of the medium of instruction.
Second Language – English (Compulsory)
Qualifying Marks- Candidates have to score atleast 60%. That is 90 marks.
