Assam career 16/10/2023 – Applications are invited for the engagement of three Fellows for the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) in the Samelangso, Nilip, and Rongmongve Development Blocks located in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam. The engagement will be for a period of 12 months on a purely temporary basis. The details are as follows.

Eligibility
Candidates must be Indian citizens, preferably residents of Assam.
Salary: RS 55,000 per month.
Age limit
Applicants should be between 21 and 35 years old as of March 31, 2023.
Educational Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a reputable institution.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with the use of social media.
- Possess project management skills.
- Prior experience or internship with a development organization.
- Self-driven individuals with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of the local language is preferred.
- Previous experience in the government or private sector in the field of development and project management at the national or state level schemes or projects is desirable.

Selection Process
- The District Commissioner, Karbi Anglong, will make the final decision regarding a candidate’s eligibility. If a candidate is found not to meet any of the eligibility criteria, their candidature will be canceled.
- No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for appearing in written or personality tests.
- Selection will be based on an interview, personality test, and skill test, with a maximum of 100 marks.
- The selection test will include the following components:
- Writing Skill: A 15-minute description on a given topic (200 words) worth 25 marks.
- A brief PowerPoint presentation of 6 slides on a specified topic (10 minutes) worth 25 marks. Topics are provided.
- Explanation, data analysis, and observations on a government report or issue from specific sectors (5 minutes) worth 25 marks.
- Computer/IT Skill and Personality Test (5 minutes) worth 25 marks.
- The selection test will be conducted on November 6th and 7th, 2023, at 10 AM in the Office of the District Commissioner, Karbi Anglong.
