The eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for the post of Assistant Professor on a contract basis in the following Departments of Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar.
Interested and eligible candidates should report at CIT Kokrajhar for the walk-in interview on the respective date and time with a duly filled Application Form in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents.

Qualification and Experience
- Master’s Degree with First Class in the relevant field of Design / Animation / Multimedia / Fine Arts / Visual Arts with specialization in 3D Modeling / Texturing / Rigging / Animation / Lighting / Game Design.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching/research/industry.
- PhD in the relevant area is highly desirable.
Note: Candidates who have completed a PhD after the Bachelor’s Degree from an institution of National Importance (as per the Ministry of Education, GoI) shall be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.

Qualification and Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent at least in one degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching/research/industry.
- PhD in the relevant subject is highly desirable.
Note: Candidates who have completed a PhD after the Bachelor’s Degree from an institution of National Importance (as per the Ministry of Education, GoI) shall be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
Salary
- The Assistant Professor shall be eligible for a consolidated monthly salary of RS 80,000 per month only.
- The candidate will not be entitled to any other benefits, which are admissible to the regular employees of CIT Kokrajhar.

- This engagement will not vest any right to claim for regular appointment in CIT Kokrajhar or for continued services in CIT Kokrajhar.
- The appointment will be purely contractual for a period of 6 months.
- CIT Kokrajhar reserves the right to terminate this engagement any time even before the stipulated period in case of unsatisfactory performance, misconduct, or any other administrative reasons/compulsions.
- In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of CIT Kokrajhar shall be final.
- The candidate will have to perform such other duties and work as assigned by CIT Kokrajhar from time to time.
- On expiry of the period of this engagement as per the offer of engagement, the candidate will not be required to turn up for duties unless further extension is given by CIT Kokrajhar.
- If it is detected by CIT Kokrajhar during the period of engagement that academic credentials/experience are outstanding, fake, or substandard, or documents are false, fabricated, or tampered with, or the candidate is not eligible for the post as per the prescribed educational qualifications and experience, the engagement shall be terminated forthwith and action will be initiated against the candidate as per rules.
