24 posts for Regional Forensic Science Laboratories in Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Silchar, and Tezpur, respectively, 7 posts for Mobile Forensic Laboratories, 5 posts for the Directorate Office at Kahilipara, Guwahati.
Qualification: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.

- B.Sc in Chemistry/Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.
- B.Sc in Botany/Zoology/Anthropology (Physical)/Biotechnology/Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.
- B.Sc in Physics/Electronics/Instrumentation/Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.
Salary: PB-2, RS 14,000 – RS 60,500 + Grade Pay of RS 7,600.
Age: The candidate should be between 21 and 40 years of age as of 1/1/2023, with a 5-year relaxation for STP/SC/STH and 3-year relaxation for OBC/MOBC category candidates.
