Educational qualifications
A Master’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed).
A Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) with published works.
Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in universities/colleges and other institutions of higher education.
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal (PBAS) in Appendix-III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
A minimum of ten research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. A minimum 110 research score as per Appendix-II of Table 2 as per UGC regulation, 2018.
A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the graduate and master’s degree levels for SC/ST/differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic records during direct recruitment to teaching positions.
This relaxation is based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.
A relaxation of 5% may be provided to Ph.D. degree holders who obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991 and have obtained at least 50% marks.
