Name of the posts- Assistant Administrative Officers

Eligibility Criteria– Having a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a government-recognized University or Institution.

Salary- Basic pay of Rs 53600 per month in the scale of Rs 53600 and other admissible allowances as per rules.

Age limit- Minimum Age shall be 21 years as of 01/01/2023. The maximum age shall not be more than 30 years. (Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/01/1993 and not later than 01/01/2002 both days inclusive only are eligible)

Application fee- The application fee is Rs700 for unreserved category candidates and Rs85 for reserved categories.

How to Apply-

Candidates can apply online from 15.01.2023 to 31.01.2023. Before applying online, candidates should be ready with/ for the following.

Applicants need to submit an online application published on the official website. No other mode for application will be accepted.

Documents needed- Scan copy of the photograph, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications.

A valid personal email ID and mobile number should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process.

LIC may send call letters for the examination through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, should create a new e-mail ID and mobile number before applying online and must maintain that email account and mobile number.

SELECTION PROCEDURE-

The selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three-tiered process and subsequent Medical examination.

1. Preliminary Examination- Online written test.

2. Main Examination- Objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive tests for 25 marks.

3. Phase-III- Interview

Date of Examination- Preliminary examination dates- 17/02/2023 and 20/02/2023.

Main examination date- 18/03/2023.

Important Points-

Candidates must ensure that they meet all eligibility requirements, including age, qualifications, EWS category, and caste.

If found ineligible at any stage of recruitment, the candidature will be canceled and fees/intimation charges will be forfeited.

The decision of LIC in all matters related to eligibility, selection, and recruitment will be final and binding. Do not contact LIC for any correspondence or personal inquiries.

After applying online, print a copy of the application and retain it after signing it. Do not send this copy to LIC. The option to print the application will be available until 15.02.2023.

If called for an interview, candidates must submit the signed, system-generated printout of the online application, proof of fee payment, and original and self-attested copies of all relevant certificates. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the candidature.

Withdrawing your candidature due to the non-furnishing of information will not result in carrying forward or retaining the candidature for future recruitment. Once submitted, the application cannot be withdrawn and the fee paid will not be refunded or held for future exams or selection.

Caste and Income Asset certificates for EWS must be obtained in the prescribed format from any of the specified authorities and submitted at the time of the interview.

To be eligible for reservation under the OBC category, candidates must belong to a caste or community that is listed by both the Central and State Governments of their state of origin.

Candidates who belong to the “creamy layer” as specified in the Dept. of Personnel & Training OM No.36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT) dated 8.9.93 will not be eligible for this reservation.

OBC candidates must provide a certificate in the preformat prescribed by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Govt. of India to show that they do not belong to the creamy layer. Not providing this certificate may result in the application being invalid. Formats for Caste Certificates for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes, EWS Certificates, and Disability certificates for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will be available on the website.

Candidates who work for the government or public sector companies must provide a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer during the interview, otherwise, their candidature may not be considered.

Candidates are not allowed to use calculators, mobile phones, pagers, or any other instruments in the examination hall.

Admission to the online examination is provisional and subject to verification of age, qualifications, and category of the candidate with reference to documents.

Candidates should not provide false, tampered, fabricated, or suppress material information while filling up the online application form. Any request for a change of details submitted during the process of registration will not be entertained.

Call letters will not be dispatched by post or any other mode.

Candidates will be required to download the call letters from the referred website.

The examination will be conducted online in venues given in the respective call letters.

No request for a change of center/venue/date/session for examination shall be entertained. LIC reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centers and/or add some other centers, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.

LIC also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any center other than the one he/she has opted for. If a sufficient number of candidates do not opt for a particular center for an “Online” examination, LIC reserves the right to allot any other adjunct center to those candidates.

If the number of candidates is more than the capacity available for an online exam for a center, LIC reserves the right to allot any other center to the candidate. Candidates will be informed accordingly in case of any change in the date, center, or venue of examination by email and SMS.
