Pre-Matric Scholarship – Welfare of SC & BC .Assam is inviting applications for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste students who are studying in Class-1 to 8, at Government Education Institutions in Assam for the year 2023-24.
To apply, you need to use the prescribed format. The application forms for the scholarship can be obtained for free from the Sub-Divisional Welfare Offices that are responsible for your respective Educational Institutions.

How to Apply
The student needs to submit the application form to the Head of the Institution along with self-attested photocopies of the front page of their Bank Pass Book, Caste Certificate, and Annual Income Certificate.
The Head of the Institution will then prepare a list of applicants with their details following the application format and submit it, along with the original application forms and other necessary documents, to the concerned office of the Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer.
All Sub-Divisional Welfare Officers will review the application forms, verify the Caste Certificate, Annual Income Certificate, and Bank Account details of the applicants. They will then compile the list both in Hard Copy and Soft Copy (in MS Word format only) from all the institutions and submit it to the undersigned office before 31st October 2023.
