SLPRB – Recruitment for 2 posts of Inspector (B), 60 Posts of Sub- Inspector (B), 70 Posts of Head Constable (B) & 200 Posts of Constable (B) under PIF Scheme of Government of India in Assam Police Border Organization in pursuance of advertisement issued vide No. SLPRB/REC/Ex-Servicemen/A.P. Border Org./637/ 2023/ 65 dated 24-08-2023.

A Written Test will be held followed by Oral Viva/Interview for recruitment for the above mentioned posts.

Subjects to be covered

Elementary Arithmetic.
General English.
Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy.
General Awareness/General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Important points

The number of Candidates to be called for the Oral Viva/Interview will be at the rate of 5 times the number of vacancies for each category of posts based on merit in the Written Test.

In cases where Candidates score the same marks as the last Candidate selected for Oral Viva/Interview by the 5 times formula, the Candidates with the same marks will also be called for the Oral Viva/Interview.

Hence, the number may exceed the 5 times limit for that particular post.

The date and venue of the tests will be communicated in due course.
