Assam career – Applications are hereby invited from individuals who are the citizens of India according to the provisions laid out in the Indian Constitution.

The vacancies are for the roles of Accountant 1 (One) and Cashier 1 (One) within the Assam State Warehousing Corporation (ASWC), situated at Amarawati Path, Christian Basti, Dispur Guwahati-781005.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• The candidate must hold a minimum educational qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Hons) with a specialization in Accountancy. Preference will be given to candidates possessing an M.Com degree.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience is required, preferably in roles within PSU/Government/Semi-Government/Private Organizations, renowned for their expertise in accounts, taxation, and proficient use of computerized accounting systems in adherence to government-approved policies.
• Proficiency in Tally Accounting Software is also a prerequisite. The maximum age limit is 38 years as of 31/03/2023, with a relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

Salary

The selected candidates will receive a compensation range of RS 8,000 to RS 35,000, accompanied by a Grade Pay of RS 4,300, along with other eligible allowances as per the established regulations.

• (a) General/OBC/MOBC Candidate: RS 500 (Rupees five hundred) only.
• (b) ST/SC Candidate: RS 250 (Rupees two hundred fifty) only.

The application fee can be paid through a Demand Draft favoring “Assam State Warehousing Corporation,” payable at Guwahati, in any branch of a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank.
