Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications (as of December 31, 2023)

• Graduation: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Final Year/Semester Students: Those in their final year/semester of Graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, they must provide proof of having successfully passed the Graduation examination on or before December 31, 2023.
• Integrated Dual Degree (IDD): Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before December 31, 2023.
• Specialized Qualifications: Candidates with specialized qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, etc., are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Age should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as of April 1, 2023, with specific age relaxations available.

Selection Procedure

The selection for Probationary Officers will be conducted through a three-phase process:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Psychometric Test

Application Fee

• The application fee is 750/- for General, EWS, and OBC candidates.
• SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the application fee (‘Nil’).

How to Apply

You can apply for this position online only from September 7, 2023, to September 27, 2023. No applications will be accepted through any other method. Before applying online, ensure you have a valid email address and an active mobile number. Keep them active until the results are announced as they will be used for communication purposes.

• Candidates currently employed in government, quasi-government offices, public sector undertakings, nationalized banks, and financial institutions should provide a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer during the interview.
• Selected candidates must provide a proper discharge certificate from their current employer when taking up the appointment.
• Original documents regarding eligibility criteria and proof of date of birth must be presented for verification during the interview.
• SC/ST candidates, if called for an interview, must submit a caste certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format by the Government of India.

• Candidates seeking reservation under the OBC category must submit a declaration stating they do not belong to the “Creamy Layer” along with an OBC certificate in the prescribed format issued between April 1, 2023, and the interview date.
• To avail reservation under the EWS category, candidates must provide an ‘Income and Asset Certificate’ issued by a Competent Authority for the financial year 2022-23, following the Government of India’s guidelines.
• Candidates must meet the medical fitness requirements of the bank for their appointment.
• Legal proceedings related to claims or disputes arising from this advertisement can only be initiated in Mumbai, with Mumbai courts having exclusive jurisdiction.
• Outstation candidates called for an interview will be reimbursed Railway AC-III fare or actual expenses (whichever is lower) for the shortest route in India from their place of residence/posting to the interview venue. Local transportation expenses will not be reimbursed. Ineligible candidates will not be reimbursed any fare.
• The bank reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• During the interview, candidates must disclose any pending criminal cases against them. The bank may also conduct independent verification, including police records. The bank reserves the right to deny appointment based on such disclosures or verification.
• Document verification may occur at any stage, including during the Preliminary exam, Main Exam, Psychometric test, Group Exercise, Interview, Medical examination, or Joining.
