Matric Passed (Class 10) or equivalent from any government recognized institution.
Age: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 23 Years. Age relaxation will be available as mentioned below.
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix RS 21700 to RS 69100 (Levl-3) as per 7th CPC and other allowances as admissible.

Application Fee: Unreserved, EWS and OBC category candidates are required to pay RS.100 (Rupees One hundred) only. However, SC/ ST and Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through written test, physical test and medical examination. Final selection will be prepared in order of merit after completion of Review Medical Examination (RME). It is hereby emphasized that the candidates who merely secure the qualifying percentage of marks and found medically fit, may not be considered for final selection since the cut off marks will be determined according to number of vacancies.
The result of provisionally selected candidates will be uploaded in SSB website www.ssbrectt.gov.in as per availability of vacancies.
Important Points
- If a candidate is declared unfit in the DME, the grounds for rejection will be communicated to them. Rejected candidates may give written consent for RME within 24 hours of being informed of their unfitness.
- The RME will be conducted preferably on the next day of DME. The decision of the RME Board is final, and no further appeal will be entertained by SSB.
- Final selection is based on merit after completion of RME. Cut-off marks will be determined according to the number of vacancies.
- Tie-breaking principles are based on higher position, more medals, older age, and alphabetical order. Disqualification: Marriage with a person having a spouse living disqualifies a candidate.
- Exemptions may be granted under certain conditions.
- The selection process involves two stages. Stage-I is for candidates with International and National participation/medal winners up to the 3rd place.
- Stage-II is for other eligible candidates if vacancies remain unfilled.
- Age relaxation is available for different categories of eligible candidates. The relaxation is specified based on various categories.
- Candidates must meet eligibility criteria and provide original documents during documentation. The Matriculation certificate is used to determine age and name.
- Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings need a no objection certificate from their employer.
- Falsification of documents may lead to criminal actions. The government/SSB is not responsible for any damage or loss during the recruitment process.
- The Director General, SSB, has the right to make changes or cancel the recruitment. Candidates canvassing or influencing the recruitment process will be disqualified.
- SSB has the discretion to accept or reject any candidate. Mere qualification in tests does not guarantee selection. Changes in category will not be entertained.
- Candidates must not be involved in criminal cases. SSB is not responsible for postal delays or internet interruptions.
