Nabajyoti College and Sarupathar College Assam released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant professor Posts, in the colleges.

Educational qualifications

The candidates must have the latest UGC Norms with qualified NET, SLET, SET, or Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation, 2009.

 (Excluding the candidates who obtained Ph.D. Degree from off campus) for the post of Assistant Professor.)

Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

The upper age limit of the candidates as of 01.01.2023 is  40  years which is relaxed up to  5  years for  SC/ST candidates and  3  years for OBC/MOBC  candidates and 10  years for PWD  candidates.

Important Points

In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with NOC from the competent authority.

All other conditions are as per government norms.

The candidates must have Permanent  Residential Certificate  (PRC), proficiency in the local language, and be from the state of  Assam.
