Educational qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Geography/Geology, or a related field along with Certificate/Diploma in GIS and Remote Sensing or Geo informatics. Or
B.Tech/M. Tech/M.Sc. in GIS & Remote Sensing/ Geo informatics;
M.A/ M.Sc. in Geography/Geology/ Environmental Science along with Geo informatics as one of core subject or in lieu of that a Certificate or Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo informatics.
Desirable Qualification
Strong proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other industry- standard applications.
Familiarity with spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML) and coordinate systems.
Knowledge of geospatial analysis, image processing techniques, data collection through drone survey and tools for development of geospatial data.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Prior experience in a GIS-related role or internship is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Description
Digitization of geospatial data (Drone and HRSI) of Cadastral and Noncadastral villages.
Quality assurance checks on GIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Feature Extraction from Drone and HRSI Data of Cadastral and Noncadastral villages.
Linking of GIS and Textual Data in Dharitree software of DLR&S.
Preparation of GIS-related reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
Provide GIS-related technical support to end-users on field.
Documentation of GIS processes and procedures.
Support in creation of unified data model for GIS in Assam.
Design and planning of Modern Village architecture.
Any other GIS related work.
Experience- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience

Proficiency in Arc Desktop, Arc Pro, AutoCAD, Global Map.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Spreadsheets.
