Post Details & Educational Qualification

Post: Junior Officer-I (Legal)

  • Professional degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • One year of experience in handling legal matters in a reputed organization or with an experienced Advocate.
  • Knowledge of Computer (MS Office) is desirable.
  • Departmental candidates who are law graduates working in the post below for two years with aptitude for working in the Legal Department will also be considered on merit, along with others.

Post: Junior Officer-I (Vigilance)

  • Graduate with 60% marks from a recognized University.
  • 5 years’ experience in the scale of 19000-68000/- (IDA) and above, out of which 2 years’ experience in the Intelligence Wing of a Government Organization or working in the vigilance setup of a Government Department/PSU in the pay scale of Rs. 20000-72000 or equivalent.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have undergone training in Intelligence or Vigilance work.
  • Departmental candidates already working in the Vigilance Department and Law Graduates working in other departments with 2 years’ experience in the next lower scale and an aptitude for vigilance work will also be considered on merit.

Post: Management Trainee (Marketing)

  • B.Sc. (Agri.) plus MBA (Marketing/Agri. Business Management) full time or Two years Full-time PG Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Agri. Business Management OR M.Sc. (Agri.) from a recognized University/Institutions with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Knowledge of Computer (MS Office) is mandatory.

Post: Management Trainee (Civil Engg.)

  • BE/B.Tech. (Civil Engg.) from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60%* marks.

  • Senior Secondary & equivalent with a three-year Diploma in Office Management with a minimum of 60% marks, including Stenography from a Government-recognized Polytechnic OR Graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks, preferably with a Certificate course in Stenography.
  • Proficiency in computer operation (including MS Office), working knowledge of the Hindi language, office management, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • The candidate must pass a Shorthand Test at a speed of 80 wpm in English and a Computer Typing Test at a speed of 30 wpm in English, respectively. Both tests are of a qualifying nature, and candidates must pass both tests to be shortlisted for the Final Merit List.

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD categories should produce self-attested copies of the caste/income & asset certificate in the prescribed ‘central Government’ format along with originals during document verification/Skill Test. The certificates should be of a recent date (issued on or after 01.01.2023) with suitable mention of creamy layer or non-creamy layer, as per Government of India guidelines.
  • The appointment/engagement of candidates will remain provisional until caste certificates or PWD certificates and income & asset certificates for EWS are verified. Services may be terminated if the claim for belonging to a specific category is found to be false.
  • NSC reserves the right to take further action against candidates found to have provided false certificates and testimonials.
  • The vacancies reserved for the EWS category are tentative and subject to the outcome of any litigations and/or directives from the Government of India regarding EWS category.
  • The minimum disability for PWD candidates is 40%, and sub-categories of disability should be indicated.
  • PWD candidates must possess a certificate to this effect issued by the Board, countersigned by the Medical Superintendent/Chief Medical Officer/Head of Hospital of the Government.
