Age Limit
Candidates must not be more than 45 years of age as of January 1, 2023. Relaxation of the upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST (P), ST (H), and PH candidates for another 5 years as per the Government of Assam OM.

- Applicants must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects or have a Diploma in Bengali issued by the Barak Upatyaka Banga Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan or have studied up to HSLC level in a Bengali medium school.

- The engagement will be on a purely contractual basis for a period of 11 months. Since Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV-III), Lowairpoa is a Senior Secondary Level (Class VI to XII) exclusively for girls, all Full-Time Assistant Teachers must reside in the school cum hostel campus on working days and during holidays.
