Important Information
Monthly Fixed Remuneration:
Head Teacher: Rs 24,000 for HS TET Passed & Rs 22,000 for Non-TET
Full-time Assistant Teachers: Rs 22,000 for HS TET Passed & Rs 20,000 for Non-TET
Part-Time Assistant Teacher: Rs. 18,000.
Account Assistant cum Caretaker: Rs. 18,000.

Age not more than 45 years as of 1st September 2023.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the UP/HS/HSS level.
Service conditions will be governed as per provisions made by the Samagra Siksha Assam. Head Teacher & Full-time Assistant Teachers must stay in KGBV.

What are the eligibility criteria for the Head Teacher position?
Eligibility for the Head Teacher position requires a Post Graduate qualification in English, Education, Economics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, along with a B.Ed degree from a recognized University. Higher Secondary TET certification is also mandatory.
Is teaching experience required for these positions?
While teaching experience is not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the UP/HS/HSS level.
Are candidates with a Post Graduate qualification and B.Ed eligible if they do not have a Higher Secondary TET certification?
Yes, candidates with a Post Graduate qualification and B.Ed will be considered for the positions even if they do not have a Higher Secondary TET certification. However, they must qualify for the Higher Secondary TET within the next three consecutive Higher Secondary TET exams.
What is the duration of the contractual engagement for selected candidates?
Selected candidates will be initially engaged on a contractual basis for a period of 11 (Eleven) months.
Can the contractual engagement be regularized under Samagra Siksha or absorbed into any government job/program in the future?
No, the contractual engagement will neither be regularized under Samagra Siksha nor absorbed under any government job/program in the future.
What is the remuneration for these positions?
The monthly fixed remuneration varies for each position. Head Teacher receives Rs 24,000 for HS TET Passed & Rs 22,000 for Non-TET. Full-time Assistant Teachers receive Rs 22,000 for HS TET Passed & Rs 20,000 for Non-TET. Part-Time Assistant Teacher and Account Assistant cum Caretaker both receive Rs. 18,000.
